more than friends?
can we be more than friends?
maybe one of the most dreadful words that a girl can hear from her guy friend..
I, for one, is facing this dilemma. When you feel that you are really caught in between being a friend and being a girl yourself and between your friendship that you know is already on the line. It is not that easy to just shrug him off of your life, coz he has became part of it. Both of you swore to secrecy to be friends for life. To share to him everything about you and your dreams. Sometimes in this situations, betrayal is felt. Someone whom you've trusted to be just your friend, wants more from you than what you are offering. So, my question is, will the friendship be ever the same again?
I used to think it would still be the same but I've learned it the hard way.
I thought it was just okay that he has feelings for me and that i can handle it very well. But i guess i thought wrong. Coz the awkwardness just keeps getting deeper and deeper from every second that is spent together. I can't even look at him or say what's on my mind anymore. And it has become so hard to breathe at times. Trying so hard to get your mind focus and you, keep teeling yourself that you can do it, you can come near him and talk as if nothing is wrong and everything is still the same. But to no avail. You still fail. Even a single hello or hi can't escape the tightness of your lips. It is as if your voice just run off together with your heart. Can't say a thing, can't feel a thing. Feeling like a zombie of some sort.
I am really wondering why is it that they just couldn't contain what they think they are feeling for you, specially if your friends. Why can't they just shut their mouth? Is it really that hard to control hormones? That they just wanna blurt out everything that they think and feel? But then again who can blame them? If a person is already feeling strongly about someone, i am sure that a simple dodge of that feelings can't be attained. Because i think that the more you try to suppress your feelings, that tighter your heart becomes, the harder it is to breathe when that person is near you, the more you are tempted to tell them. So i suggest that they should just acknowledge their feelings so that no pressure can be experienced or would that even worsen the situation.
