Why do people expect you to be something you’re not? Why do they expect you to be, oh so perfect. Expect you to be capable of doing what’s only appropriate and acceptable for their eyes and to what society tells us as suitable, especially when you’re a girl. Why do they always expect you to always act in proper decorum and in accordance to whatever standard it is that they set. It’s as if you can or should never commit an ERROR. A little mistake, a minor setback or a small mishap, they’ll quickly jump to conclusions that aren’t even TRUE. Are we not allowed to commit such dumbness as they call it, once in a while? At times like this, I just wanna run away. Far away, where no one knows who I am and that they would not expect too much from ME.
